A Song.

Ever been so moved so deeply by a song that it seems to grab your heart and soul by the reigns and just, you know, yanks it so hard that you swear something drastic will happen? Like, your heart will simply burst from your chest or you will collapse from the sheer amount of emotion you feel?

No? Oh, okay. Maybe it's just me then. I'm someone who is so affected and moved by music that a song can stop me dead in my tracks and flip my world upside down for a few minutes.
Few songs have managed to do that. The most recent artist to stop me in my tracks was Adele; good Lord, that voice, that emotion. Those songs!

The song that I posted below is one such piece of music that even I was surprised at my reaction. Sung by Lea Michele of GLEE fame, it is a song for those who, like me, are going through something difficult at the moment. While I am not that big of a fan of Lea Michele (her character on the show always elicits a, "She's so annoying!" burst from me, whether I'm alone or not), I will admit that she can sing.

This is a song dealing with love. The kind of love that is so strong, so powerful, that it delves into your soul and doesn't leave. The kind of love where you can look at that person and admit, "I need you". Not in that desperate, clingy way, but in the way that the other person has become such a part of you that you will let down your defenses and say, without shame, "I need you".

I debated posting this song.

But I needed to.

I won't run, I won't fly
I will never make it by
Without you, without you
I can't rest, I can't fight
All I need is you and I,
Without you, without you
