Goal Weight by June 3, 2011: 145 lbs.
Ultimate Goal Weight: 130 lbs.
Come on, seriously? I was 0.1 lbs. away from reaching 145.9 lbs. Not exactly my first mini-goal weight of 145 lbs. Once I hit that goal, my bathing suit from Esther Williams is mine.
I'm still happy with the weight loss, though. I've been on this journey since the end of March/beginning of April and have managed to drop nearly 10 lbs. It doesn't sound like much, but honestly I don't have too much to lose in the first place. Once I hit 140, I'll be happy, and once I hit 130 I know I'll be extremely happy.

I took on the challenge to lose weight/get healthy for several reasons: 1) I was unhappy with how I was looking and feeling; 2) I wanted to get into shape for summer; 3) I knew I needed to make a lifestyle change and 4) I wanted to see just how far I could go without extreme dieting/exercising. A month and a half later and I already feel so much better about myself.
So, last week was not a good week for me in terms of exercising. My weekly goal of walking/jogging 10 miles just did not happen. I probably did about 4 or 5; most likely 4. I take these walks during my lunch break at work, but with crap weather and a busy workload, I didn't get all of my miles in. But this is the start of a new week and I am determined to get my miles in. I'm also going to incorporate Ripped in 30 back into my weekday workout routine, and hit the gym Thursday through Saturday again.

I also got a new DVD, 10 Minute Solution: Kickbox Bootcamp and I really love it so far. It has five 10 minute segments ("Basic Training", "Ultimate Buns and Thighs", "Arm and Shoulder Sculptor", "Fat Burning Blast", "Washboard Abs") and gives you the ability to customize your own workout. I love it, I really do.
Okay, I'm going to get going for now but until next time!
